Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon and branded cork puller
The 2013 Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon displays fragrant aromas of plum and black cherry find balance with undertones of vanilla, cola, cloves, and cocoa dust. Right on the heels of the aromatic intensity are interwoven layers of blackberry, boysenberry, black currant, dark plum, and mocha. This wine is full-bodied with supple tannins and a long, generous finish.
Pair this wine with a refined wood finish cork puller and you've got the perfect gift.
The fruit for this wine came from four prestigious appellations of the Central Coast: Arroyo Seco for structure and backbone; San Antonio Valley for rich plum and currant flavors; Hames Valley for color and intense blackberry and spice aromas; and Paso Robles for black cherry notes and seductively round, supple tannins.
Our experienced winemaking team chooses Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards planted in the warmer regions of the Central Coast. The extra heat eliminates green flavors and brings out decadent and complex dark fruit elements. After harvest, we barrel-ferment Smith & Hook in French oak, beautifully melding each vineyard’s distinctive flavors into a robust and richly layered blend. We aged this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in French oak (40% new).
