Riesling excels in cool climates, and like Pinot Noir, is highly influenced by the terroir of its planting site. After harvest, the grapes for this wines were gently pressed and the juice was racked into a stainless steel tank for fermentation. Our winemakers chose to maintain a small amount of residual sugar in the finished wine, which enhances the texture and balances a note of tartness on the finish.
