Lucienne Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands Lone Oak Vineyard 2007
The 2007 Lone Oak Pinot Noir tantalizes with aromas of wild cherry, juicy raspberry and hints of leather interlaced with bright pomegranate and earthy mushroom flavors...
90 points from Wine Enthusiast
90 Points - "Pinot Noir doesn't get much riper in fruit than this. It detonates on the palate with a blast of raspberries and red cherries that taste like they were baked into a pie. Oak adds the usual rich notes of vanilla and caramel cream. Not particularly subtle, but decadent and delicious." Wine Enthusiast Magazine - September 2010
The Chronicle Recommends - 2007 Lucienne Lone Oak Pinot Lone Oak Vineyard, in the appellation's cooler northern portion, is the source for a third vintage of this bottling from Lucienne, also owned by Nicolaus Hahn and produced in the Hahn Estates winery. Deep, fruity mass with spice; very good structure to support the elegant raspberry and black cherry aromas and flavors touched with pencil lead and leather.
San Francisco Chronicle, Lynne Char Bennett
The 2007 Lone Oak Pinot Noir tantalizes with aromas of wild cherry, juicy raspberry and hints of leather interlaced with bright pomegranate and earthy mushroom flavors. The silkiness on the palate leads into a feminine, well-choreographed and elegant finish.
