The 2005 Lone Oak Pinot Noir is the initial release in our single vineyard program from Lucienne,a winery located in the Santa Lucia Highlands and owned by Hahn Estates.  Lone Oak is a small but prestigious vineyard located midway in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation.  The Lone Oak vineyard's northern location on the property allows for more of maritime influence on the vines which results in the silky mouthfeel full of velvety tannins with lingering acidity that carries the perception of honeyed fruit well into the finish. It shows aromas of black cherry and strawberry intertwined with mocha, coconut, and leathery spices.
