This ruby-hued Pinot Noir beckons from the glass with fragrant aromas of violet, black cherry and oak. Notes of pepper and strawberry jam lead to a luscious core of ripe red berries. Hints of earthiness, citrus and vanilla add to the complexity, and a silky, sleek finish makes this wine a true palate-pleaser.
Estate-grown, produced and bottled by Hahn Winery, our SLH wines reflect the best from our vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation.
The Hahn SLH Pinot Noir comprises grapes grown from four of the Hahn Estates Santa Lucia Highlands vineyards at elevations up to 1,200 feet. The conditions of the Doctor’s and Lone Oak vineyards, and the Smith and Hook ranches are ideal for growing Pinot Noir, bathed in the sun above the valley fog, while the ocean breezes keep the temperature moderate and allow for a long, cool growing season.

This versatile wine complements virtually any dish. Try a classic pairing such as sake poached salmon with wilted greens and shallot vinaigrette, or serve with simpler fare such as ham and gruyere panini, or mini toasts topped with gouda and burnt fig jam.
