The Huntington StorySince 1988, Sonoma County's Huntington Wine Cellars has been producing world-class California wines that appeal to all of the senses and reflect the finer things in life. Huntington's wines are created by the winemaking team of Kerry Damskey (who crafts the Sonoma County appellation and reserve wines) and Barry Gnekow (who crafts the wines from California and the Central Coast). Their combined experience and connections provide insight and flexibility to source the best fruit from top vineyards and produce various varieties and blends of small wine lots with very close attention to detail. The resulting wines are complex in Huntington’s signature style: uniquely identifiable, refined, elegant and understated. Huntington has proudly continued its artist-series labels with the works of Hahn Family Wines and Huntington proprietor Gaby Hahn. Gaby and her husband Nicolaus “Nicky” Hahn's passion and dedication extends beyond their California wine business and to Northern Kenya, Africa, where they own, “Mugie Ranch” a farm and wildlife preserve. Here the Hahn Family works to build schools and assist the community, while protecting and nourishing the rich culture, environment, and endangered wildlife of this ‘vanishing landscape’. Gaby's artwork is created here, sharing with us a poignant view of the native people and wildlife that call Mugie Ranch home. |
